The answer to our health problems in the present lie in the past. People in the past that utilised these forms of training, nutrition and replenishing techniques were physically and mentally the healthiest and strongest people of their era.
If you look at the present, we are now living longer due to medical advances, have access to great household appliances, have devised new ways of training, developed new food products that have a greater lifespan and have countless forms of high tech entertainment. These are all designed to make life more convenient.
Why is it that we have more physical and mental problems today compared to the past? I believe it is because we have lost focus and abandoned the basics that made us strong and healthy. We live in a society of instant gratification, self-entitlement and narcissim. We are so worried about what people will think of us if we don't conform to perceived expectations. We buy things with money we don’t have to impress people that don’t care thinking this will make us happy. Everybody wants to be the hare, nobody wants to be the tortoise.
By using health and fitness techniques of the past, you can reclaim your health and have peace of mind. I’m not saying you won’t encounter any more issues that will negatively affect your life. What I am giving you are the tools that will allow you manage what life throws at you by improving your physical and mental health.
