This is a great way to start the day and/or increase your energy in the middle of the day. The best fruits to use for this smoothie is from its natural source. SERVES TWO
x 1 cup of fresh strawberries
x 1 cup of fresh kiwi fruit
x 1 ½ cups of unflavoured almond milk
Place the strawberries, kiwifruit and almond milk in a large blender and turn the blender on high for 1 minute.
Optional ingredients to add:
You can add 1 teaspoon of unflavoured whey protein isolate powder to improve the nutritional content of the smoothie.
If you don’t like unflavoured almond milk, use water and turn the smoothie into a fruit juice.
