Mango and Pineapple Smoothie

Dish Description

This is a great way to start the day and increase your energy levels in the middle of the day.  The best fruits to use for this smoothie is from its natural source.  SERVES TWO

Ingredients

x 1 cup of freshly sliced mango

x 1 cup of freshly sliced pineapple

x 1 ½ cups of unflavoured almond milk

Preparation

Place the mango, pineapple and almond milk in a large blender and turn the blender on high for 1 minute.

Optional ingredients to add:

You can add 1 teaspoon of unflavoured whey protein isolate powder to improve the nutritional content of the smoothie.

If you don’t like unflavoured almond milk, use water and turn the smoothie into a fruit juice.
