2 small heads Bibb or butter lettuce, torn
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano
1 teaspoon crushed mustard seed
1 teaspoon squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon walnut oil
Freshly ground pepper, to taste
Place the lettuce in a large salad bowl. Combine parsley, oregano, mustard, lemon juice, and oils in a small jar. Shake well.
Toss with lettuce and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
